Embedded Files
You may import an existing file in BaseCamp to:
- review and edit the route
- send the route to your device
To import a file you need to:
- Select a list where to import the new file.
!! it is important to select the right list otherwise the import will be done in a wrong place.
It is recommended to create folders and lists to organise your routes. This can be done by country, region, period, organisation ...
- Start import
- click on Ctrl+I
or
- go to File | Import into ...
- Select the file to import and click Open
you can download a file (route) from here and use it for import
- The route and the way points are imported in the selected list
- If the file you have imported is a track, you can create a route from a track
- You can now edit the route
