Sohaila Eltanbouly

Sohaila earned her BSc in Computer Engineering in 2018 and her MSc in Computing in 2021 from the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Qatar University. She became a member of the bigIR team in October 2023. Prior to joining the team, she gained valuable experience in several research fields, including intrusion detection and industrial control systems. During her master's studies, Sohaila developed an interest in Information Retrieval (IR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). She is currently working as a research assistant on a project that focuses on developing an Arabic Automated Essay Scoring system.
