Property Rating

Goal: To rate properties by room type, the number of properties per property owner, and the number of beds to help decide which property is more suitable for each person.

1. What is the maximum rating based on the selected room type?

2. What is the average rating based on the number of beds in each property?

3. What is the distribution of the number of beds in each property based on the selected room type?

4. Based on the number of properties each owner has, how many beds are in each property? And in which neighborhoods are these properties located?

5. How many properties are there in each neighborhood, if I choose a specific room type?

Conclusions:

1. When the room type is a 'hotel room', there are 43 properties with 1 bed, 3 properties with 2 beds, 2 properties with 0 beds and 1 property with 4 beds.

2. When the room type is 'shared room', there are 5 properties in the 'Lake View' neighborhood. These properties have 2 properties with 1 bed, 1 property with 4 beds, 1 property with 10 beds and 1 property with 11 beds.

3. When calculeted host listings count is 655, the average rating is very low (0.14). Most of these properties are located in the 'Near North Side' neighborhood (186 properties).

4. When the number of beds in a property is exactly 14 beds, there is one property that matches. The property is located in the 'Logan Square' neighborhood and its rating is 5.

5.
