Synthesis of Polymers
We are also working on the synthesis of various types of polymers, for instance, ionic polymers, conjugated polymers and flexible polymers. These polymers, depending upon their chemical structure, can be employed in a number of energy devices. More specifically, we have developed polymerized ionic liquids for efficient capture of carbon dioxide, selective cation movement in solid polymer electrolytes etc. Further, we are also working on the synthesis of conjugated polymers for efficient emitters for organic light emitting diodes.
