Functional materials for Lithium Sulfur Batteries
Herein, research thrust is to develop novel fiber based materials of Lithium sulfur batteries. I seek to develop unique design strategies to achieve fiber architectures combined with surface functionalities with the aim to increase the capacity as well as efficiency of cost effective Lithium sulfur batteries. The focus of this research work is to mitigate the current challenges pertaining to high performance of the Lithium sulfur batteries, such as low conductivity of sulfur, volume expansion of the electrode and polysulfide shuttling.
