Bio:
Prof. Nandan received his B.Sc. degree from Kurukshetra University in 1995 and M.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry (Polymer Science) from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar in 1997. Subsequently he did his PhD work in a DRDO lab (DMSRDE Kanpur) and received the degree in Applied Chemistry (Polymer Science) from Kanpur University in 2003. From 2003 to 2006 he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. Hsin-Lung Chen at the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Tsing-Hua University, Hsinchu (Taiwan). He then moved to Germany and, between 2006 to 2010, was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. Manfred Stamm at the Department of Nanostructured Materials, Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden. In July 2010, he moved back to India after accepting an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Textile Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Since 2016, he is an Associate Professor in the same department at IIT Delhi
