BeYou Pilot Testing Successfully Conducted

As part of the Erasmus+ project BeYou – Empowering Young Women Through Natural Beauty, we conducted pilot testing of the online educational resource for mentors, focusing on emotional intelligence and resilience.
Youth workers – mentors from the organization Creative Station participated in a group discussion and provided valuable feedback.
The participants rated the module with the highest score (5/5) for the clarity of objectives, relevance of content, and effectiveness of the online format.
The section on empathy and social skills was highlighted as particularly impactful for empowering young women.
Through practical examples and an inclusive tone, the module offers support and motivation, encouraging personal growth and community connection.
Recommendations for improvement include the addition of interactive elements, an audio version, and tools to support group facilitation.

Location: SZŠ VOŠ, Czech Republic
The pilot testing of the BeYou Bite-Sized Knowledge for Mentors online educational resource was carried out at SZŠ VOŠ in the Czech Republic. During the session, participants had the opportunity to explore the interactive course, which focuses on media literacy, emotional intelligence, and self-reflection.
This resource is designed to provide mentors with practical tools to support young women in navigating the challenges of the digital environment and building their self-confidence.
We thank all participants for their valuable feedback, which will contribute to the further improvement of the content.

on the module’s content and structure. Participants awarded the module the highest rating (5/5) for its clear objectives, relevant content, and effective online format.
The section on creative thinking and adaptability stood out as particularly impactful in equipping young women with essential problem-solving skills.
By incorporating real-life examples and an inclusive approach, the module fosters motivation, personal growth, and a sense of community.
Suggestions for improvement included adding interactive features, an audio version, and tools to facilitate group discussions.

Location: Konak Çınarlı vocational and Technical High School
Module 1: A Media Literacy and Creative Expression
As a part of Erasmus Be You Project,we have made a Pilot implementation of this module with a group of 6–15 participants, aged 16-20, including both experienced social media users and those with less frequent engagement on digital platforms. Feedback is provided regarding content relevance, effectiveness of activities, and the overall learning experience.the teachers has made a group dicussion with students and get these feedbacks.
Participant Feedback (Quotes):
• “I never realized how much I’ve been influenced by social media to think I need to look a certain way. The Spot the Edit exercise opened my eyes to how much manipulation goes on, and now I feel empowered to challenge it.”
• “I loved the creative challenge where we designed our own social media posts. It made me realize how I can use my online presence to celebrate my real self instead of trying to fit into an impossible standard.”
• “The affirmation writing exercise was powerful. I had never really thought about focusing on what I love about myself rather than comparing myself to others online. I’m going to make it a habit!”
• “It would be great to talk more about how to handle the pressure to conform to beauty standards, like how to block out negativity or avoid certain content that makes me feel bad about myself.”
Also the two teachers have stated that the module effectively engaged participants with practical tools to challenge social media’s influence on beauty standards and embrace authentic self-expression. The BeYou Mentors Toolkit – Module 1 is an impactful and empowering resource for helping young women navigate beauty standards in a digital age. The pilot demonstrated that participants left with a greater sense of media literacy, self-confidence, and the tools to create positive digital content that challenges traditional beauty ideals.
