Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Izmir – BeYou: Empowering Young Women Through Natural Beauty

From 15 to 17 June 2025, Izmir, Türkiye, hosted the final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) and Dissemination Conference of the Erasmus+ project BeYou – Empowering Young Women Through Natural Beauty (Project No: 2023-3-CZ01-KA210-YOU-000181696).

The host of the event was the Konak Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which opened its doors to partners from the Czech Republic, Serbia, Spain, and other countries. Together, we summarised results, evaluated achievements, and agreed on strategies for sustaining and expanding the project’s impact.

Objectives and Programme of the TPM

Over the three days of the meeting:

National implementations and the use of the developed educational tool were presented by all partner organisations.

Workshops were held to assess the usability and effectiveness of the digital toolkit.

Sustainability and future dissemination of results were discussed to ensure that the materials and platform continue to benefit young women and trainers beyond the project’s official lifetime.

The Dissemination Conference – Final Event

On the final day, 17 June, the International Dissemination Conference brought together:

Students and teachers from the host school

Project team members from all partner organisations

Local guests and representatives from civil society

The conference featured presentations of the project results and its impact, video showcases from the partner countries, a panel discussion, and a demonstration of the Moodle platform and digital toolkit. Together, participants explored ways to extend the project’s reach and maintain its momentum for the future.

Continuing the BeYou Story

The final TPM in Izmir demonstrated how collaborative efforts can drive positive change in the field of non-formal education and empower young women to build self-confidence, embrace inclusiveness, and recognise the value of natural beauty. The objectives and outcomes of the BeYou project will live on through a strong network of partners, committed to nurturing new generations of confident and resilient young women.
