In today's digital world, young women face immense pressure from unrealistic beauty standards that harm their mental well-being. The "BeYou" project seeks to change this narrative by empowering them with the tools to understand and challenge media portrayals. Our initiative promotes natural beauty, media literacy, and self-worth, providing a foundation for a healthier society. By investing in authentic beauty education, we advocate for a future where young women feel valued for who they truly are. It’s time to redefine beauty, celebrate diversity, and prioritize mental health—because every young woman deserves to see her unique beauty reflected in the world.

Aim

The aim of the "BeYou" project is to empower young women by promoting self-esteem, media literacy, and a positive body image. It challenges harmful beauty standards and offers tools for critical thinking about media influences. Through educational resources and community support, the project aims to foster authentic self-worth and emotional well-being, creating a healthier, more inclusive society.

Target Group

The "BeYou" project targets youth workers and young women aged 14-21. Youth workers receive training and resources to guide young women in media literacy, emotional intelligence, and self-esteem. The project empowers young women to challenge harmful beauty standards and embrace natural beauty.

Results

The "BeYou" project delivers key results: empowering youth workers, enhancing young women's self-esteem, and promoting media literacy. It provides innovative educational tools, workshops, and online resources to challenge harmful beauty standards, foster critical thinking, and encourage authentic self-worth, creating a lasting impact on future generations.
