Erasmus+ KA229 projektu - strateška partnerstva škola! Nositelj projekta je Osnovna škola Janka Leskovara iz Pregrade, a osim OŠ Bedekovčina, partneri na projektu su učenici i učitelji škola iz Poljske i Turske.
Agencija za mobilnost i programe EU odobrilo je financiranje projektnog prijedloga OŠ Janka Leskovara Pregrada pod nazivom "Budi rješenje – recikliraj!" u iznosu od 148.808,00 eura. Otpad je gorući i rastući problem suvremene civilizacije i osnovni problem zaštite okoliša. U cijelom svijetu se proizvode ogromne količine otpada koje zatrpavaju mora i oceane, rijeke i jezera, šume i planine koje proizvode gospodarski subjekti, kućanstva, javne institucije i čovjek direktno. Projekt će trajati 2 godine (1.11.2020. - 31.10.2022.), tražili produženje zbog pandemije Corona virusa i rata u Ukrajini, pa je trajao do 31.8.2023., a kroz njega su se učenici zajedno educirati i razvijati svijest o vrstama otpada, načinima recikliranja i sortiranja otpada i korištenju otpada kao resursa, stjecati znanja o mogućnostima recikliranja sakupljenog otpada u kućanstvima i školi – papir, plastika, staklo, baterije, elektronički otpad, metalni otpad i biootpad – te njegovog korištenja kao resursa na kreativan i inovativan način u nastavi i svakodnevnom životu.
Projektne aktivnosti su uključivale i edukaciju roditelja i šireg građanstva u lokalnim zajednicama kako bi se podigla svijest o potrebi sortiranja, recikliranja i upotrebe otpada kao resursa. Projektne aktivnosti - mini projekti kao što su Zelena gradnja od otpada, Izrada igara od otpada, Animirani film o recikliranju, E-book o izradi igara od otpada, Izrada edukativnog kita od otpada i recikliranih materijala pridonijeti će kreativnosti i inovativnosti učenika, stjecanju znanja o otpadu i načinima korištenja otpada kao resursa. Kroz diseminaciju animiranog filma, e- book-a o izradi igara od otpada, izložbe radova od otpadnih materijala povodom Dana planeta Zemlje u školama, država partnera na projektu, dugoročno će raditi na osvješćivanju i edukaciji mladih osoba o važnosti recikliranja i korištenja otpada kao resursa čime će se doprinijeti zaštiti lokalnog i globalnog okoliša.
Izravni sudionici ovog projekta su učitelji i učenici škola partnera. S obzirom da su sve škole sudionici razine osnovnih škola, učenici koji će izravno sudjelovati su starosti od 11 do 14 godina, te će učenici zajedno s učiteljima sudjelovati na 4 LTTA susreta: u Poljskoj, Hrvatskoj ( OŠ Janka Leskovara Pregrada, OŠ Bedekovčina) i Turskoj. Na tim susretima su učenici škola partnera zajednički učili i radili na planiranim aktivnostima. Stjecat će znanja o korištenju otpada kao resursa, sudjelovali u mini projektima i ostalim aktivnostima planiranim za susrete, razvijali svoje prezentacijske i jezične vještine komunicirajući s drugim učenicima i učitelja škola partnera. Po povratku su svoja iskustva i znanja dijeliti unutar svojih škola uz mentorstvo učitelja koji su bili s njima u pratnji.

The Agency for Mobility and EU Programs approved the financing of the project proposal of Elementary School Janko Leskovar Pregrad called "Be the solution - recycle!" in the amount of 148,808.00 euros. Waste is a burning and growing problem of modern civilization and a basic problem of environmental protection. All over the world, huge amounts of waste are produced that fill the seas and oceans, rivers and lakes, forests and mountains produced by economic entities, households, public institutions and people directly. The project will last 2 years (1.11.2020 - 31.10.2022), an extension was requested due to the Corona virus pandemic and the war in Ukraine, so it lasted until 31.8.2023, and through it the students were educated together and developed awareness of species waste, ways of recycling and sorting waste and using waste as a resource, to acquire knowledge about the possibilities of recycling collected waste in households and schools - paper, plastic, glass, batteries, electronic waste, metal waste and bio-waste - and its use as a resource in a creative and innovative way way in class and everyday life.
The project activities included the education of parents and the general public in local communities in order to raise awareness of the need to sort, recycle and use waste as a resource. Project activities - mini-projects such as Green construction from waste, Making games from waste, Animated film about recycling, E-book about making games from waste, Making an educational kit from waste and recycled materials will contribute to students' creativity and innovation, acquiring knowledge about waste and ways of using waste as a resource. Through the dissemination of an animated film, an e-book about making games from waste, an exhibition of works from waste materials on the occasion of Earth Day in schools, the partner countries on the project will work on the long-term awareness and education of young people about the importance of recycling and using waste as a resource. which will contribute to the protection of the local and global environment.
The direct participants of this project are the teachers and students of the partner schools. Given that all the participating schools are at the elementary school level, the students who will participate directly are between the ages of 11 and 14, and the students, together with their teachers, will participate in 4 LTTA meetings: in Poland, Croatia (Janka Leskovara Pregrada Elementary School, Bedekovčina Elementary School) and Turkey. At these meetings, the students of the partner schools studied together and worked on the planned activities. They will acquire knowledge about the use of waste as a resource, participate in mini-projects and other activities planned for the meetings, develop their presentation and language skills by communicating with other students and teachers of partner schools. Upon their return, they shared their experiences and knowledge within their schools with the mentorship of the teachers who accompanied them.
