During my freshman year, I worked in Dr. Belecky Adams's lab for 10 hours a week. I completed any tasks graduate students needed me to do, and I helped them out as needed. This experience helped me improve basic laboratory skills and learn more about scientific research.
My freshman year spring semester, I volunteered at Riley's 4 hours a week. I took the Reading Cart to kids rooms and either read to them or checked out books for them. This experience gave me a chance to make an impact on some hospitalized kids. I was able to bring some cheer to patients and improve my communication skills with patients.
I joined Jagathon and began fundraising as a member of the Family Relations Comittee during my freshmen year. I have enjoyed working with Riley Families at various events, and this lead to my decision to pursue a position on the executive board my sophmore year. I have recently finished my position as Director of Campus Partnerships, in which I secured Jagathon 2025's operating budget. Moving into Jagathon 2026, I am excited to have accepted the role of Vice President of Finance!
