What does education look like in the Berkshires? 

There are many ways to pursue education during and after high school. There are several higher educational opportunities available in Berkshire County, including public options such as Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Berkshire Community College, and private colleges such as Bard College at Simon's Rock and Williams College. However, college is not the only path to continue your education after high school. You can earn vocational certifications to support your professional goals and you can take independent courses to explore new pathways and interests. 

Cost of Education

Pursuing higher education after high school can be extremely costly. However, there are a variety of scholarships available for Berkshire County students to offset the cost of attending college. There are also high school programs that will allow you to earn college credits while still in high school. Options include Advanced Placement courses, and other college preparatory programs. By getting a head start on college work, you can reduce the time and cost of attending a four-year program.
