PIRATE GADGET A NEWCOMER IN THE MOBILE SCENE
SHAH ALAM - Established in 2020, Pirate Gadget, the newcomer in the mobile scene, sells phone accessories and electronic gadgets in addition to offering smartphone repair services.

The founder of Pirate Gadget, Ramla Rustan, 28, said that she set up Pirate Gadget because she also wanted to learn business in the field of electronics other than fashion and cosmetics.

Idolizing her husband made her more eager to set up a business in the field of electronics.
“I idolize my own husband because he has taught me a lot of things considering he has more experience in the field of business and has gone through various challenges,” said Ramla in an interview with Berita DIMENSi at Pirate Gadget Shah Alam.
Although newly established, Pirate Gadget has received a lot of attention. It also has some regular customers who love the services and goods it sells.
However, the ups and downs in a business are not a foreign thing. Pirate Gadget also faces ups and downs in these two years.
According to the founder and one of the Pirate Gadget’s staff, the most challenging thing that Pirate Gadget have ever gone through was when the whole of Malaysia was ordered lockdown for quite some time due to the spread of COVID-19.
Also, the flood disaster that affected the surrounding area caused very depressing sales results.
One of the Pirate Gadget’s staff, Shayzul Khaidir, 20, had the hardest experience when there was a flood disaster.
“It's hard to go to work so I have to sleep in the shop,” said Shayzul during an interview with Berita DIMENSi at Pirate Gadget Shah Alam.

“However, the professional attitude of a worker must be emphasized. Patience in managing the customers' needs must be high because the customer is very important for the progress of the store,” he added.
Ramla also shared that during the two years Pirate Gadget was established, there were no insurmountable problems and thankfully because of that, Pirate Gadget still survives to this day.
Pirate Gadget’s operating hours are daily from 10AM to 10PM.

Every effort will definitely supply results. Her patience and attitude that is not easy to give up is what has been her strong hold in working on Pirate Gadget until now.
Apart from that, her deep interest since childhood in business is also among the reasons that have made her a successful entrepreneur now.
“Interest alone without effort will also not bear fruit. Prepare yourself in various aspects such as business fluctuations, patience in dealing with different types of people and also the attitude of not giving up,” said Ramla.
