This is a quick explanation of the progression from student group presentations to what I call the "teach" assignments.
This was a truly fabulous example of a student group presentation--but most of them just can't hit this level of fabulosity. I didn't want to ditch it because, after all, aren't students getting the most out of this? Aren't they learning more by teaching each other? But with time and patience I realized that I could do something better.
An example of a teach: 3 minutes of teaching, 3 minutes of testing, two minutes of buffer time.
