the way of formation and transformation
Conversatio is the root of the word "conversion." Conversatio in the Benedictine sense is to continually recognize our need to grow, learn, and change. We can always become more and do more. The Rule of St. Benedict offers a path using the Hallmarks: stability, humility, prayer, hospitality, obedience, community, stewardship, discipline, and love of Christ and neighbor. At Benedictine University we can practice these Hallmarks so by graduation they become part of your life. How have you practiced the Hallmarks at Benedictine? How have you transformed? How do you want to grow in the future?
