Haunted House Recap: The Spookiest Time of the Year

Ilhaam Barrow - November 18th, 2018

As stores put candy on discount and the weather started to dim, the Halloween festivities and spirit fell upon Bell High School. A week before the event was planned the Haunted House started to undergo preparations. Thanks to the Spirit Committee and many volunteers, Bell’s 2018 Haunted House was the scariest by far. This year, the Haunted House was carnival themed and ran for two days. However, there was nothing family friendly about this carnival. From creepy jack-in-the-boxes to frightening circus animals and lost wandering children, this haunted house was not for the faint of heart. One of this year’s Spirit heads, Prasith Wijeweera, had this to say about the haunted house, “The Haunted House was very spooky! It was great to see so many student volunteers help with the event!” All in all, this year’s Haunted House was a smashing success and hopefully, in the future, will be just as frightening.
