Below is the agenda for both Learning Strategies as well as English 9 & 10 courses. Please email me with any concerns or questions. As always I will accept any assignments via email (screenshot, image of worksheet, etc) or Teams submission. Reach out if you need support!!!
English 9 & 10 Agenda (IRP):
- Read 30-35 Minutes
- Complete the Active Reading Log located in Class Notebook (Microsoft Teams). Create an active log for Today's reading by answering the below questions
1. The date, Reading Log #/ Corresponding Journal Entry #
2. What page you are on in your book currently OR Minutes (audio books)
3. What did you already know about the subject of your book before reading today?
4. What did you learn about the subject of your book while reading today?
5. What new questions do you have after reading today?

Week of 4/20/20: Hi students & families,
Today & Tuesday for all classes (LS and English 9) we will begin new content. For all instruction I will be posting in Microsoft Office 365 teams. I will be doing a class notebook for both English and Learning Strategies. Please check your Microsoft Teams account for instruction and continued learning. Email me with any questions or concerns!
Assignment: Please choose a book for the reading project (IRP - Independent Reading Project). Screen Shot your book cover or just respond with the Title to the assignment in Teams. Today your only assignment is to choose a book that you are highly interested in and is at your level.
Email with any questions you might have bellk@issaquah.wednet.edu ! We are going to start this project slowly, one step at a time.

Hi Folks,
Hope everyone is staying healthy during this time. I will post updates on assignments, instruction and such as soon as we learn more information about learning during this time. Check out each calendar page for the most up to date information. Posts will also be made on this home page as well! You may email me with any questions/concerns that need an immediate response.
Course selections for the 2020-2021 school year will remain open as of now. So, please move forward with course selections for next school year. If you have a questions about what classes to take, etc. please email me! I'm in the process of sending out an email to all families/students via Skyward too.
IEP Meetings: If you are a student/family who has not yet had your meeting for the year and you are on my caseload...I will be in touch about a meeting date & time via EMAIL. At this time, all IEP team meetings that do not include a re-evaluation will be conducted. Stay in touch & take care!
