Dear Selection Committee,
I am writing to express my sincere interest in being considered for acceptance into the Behavioral Health Workforce Development Stipend Program offered by the Center for Health Innovation. Having recently been accepted into the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate Internship Program with Behavior Change Institute, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the behavioral health field and make a positive impact in the state of New Mexico.
The RBT Certificate Internship Program is a rigorous and comprehensive training initiative that aligns with my career goals and passion for providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism. I am excited about the prospect of becoming a certified RBT, as it will enable me to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to patients in rural areas of New Mexico where there is a significant shortage of certified providers.
One of the key factors that attracted me to your program is the Behavioral Health Workforce Development Stipend, which would provide invaluable financial support during my training and certification process. This financial assistance will allow me to focus on completing the required training and certification at an accelerated pace, ensuring that I am well-equipped to contribute to the needs of the community upon certification.
I am aware of the shortage of certified providers in our state, and I am eager to play a role in addressing this gap. The hands-on experience gained through the internship program, coupled with the support of the stipend, will not only enhance my professional development but also enable me to serve families in rural New Mexico more effectively.
I am committed to dedicating my skills and knowledge to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families. By participating in your program, I believe I can contribute significantly to increasing the capacity to serve families in my community and help bridge the existing gap in behavioral health services.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my candidacy further and demonstrate my commitment to becoming a valuable member of the behavioral health workforce in New Mexico.
Sincerely,
