As part of TWC 347, I had to create a company to base much of the coursework on. The company was called Custom 3D Designs (C3DD) and specialized in rapid prototype 3D printing. This company required I create custom logo and letterhead. The logo was designed in Adobe Illustrator and the letterhead in Word.  I’d recently gotten into 3D printing and figured this would be a good opportunity to work a new hobby into my academic work.

For this assignment, C3DD needed to write a funding proposal to the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA). Within this proposal, the company and needed to provide the ACA with a background for why the funding was necessary, how it would be used, and the benefits it would provide. This funding was intended to be used to teach employees business communication skills. This assignment required me to do some research and determine the actual cost of services that would be purchased with this funding. In my research I found a company named TrainUp who could provide the in-person training that the company needed. As part of this proposal, I had created visuals to show when the training session schedule, what those sessions consisted of, and the cost of the training which was pulled from the TrainUp site. To ensure my proposal matched the intended audience, I researched funding proposals and found great examples to follow.
