Recital

Saturday, June 8th

Performing Arts Center at Glenwood Community High School-

Show Times:

1:00 pm (11:30 dancer check-in) and 6:00 pm (4:30 dancer check-in)

Families should have received an email confirming their show time. Please check with the front desk or your teacher if you have a question about which show time is correct for your dancer.

Seating

Doors to the seating will open 30 minutes prior to show time. If you have someone in a wheelchair, please see an usher for assistance. We would be happy to seat them 45 minutes before the show.

Don’t Forget: Seating is General Admission – which means first come, first served. There is no saving seats at recital!

Parents, this is a busy time for staff. Please be respectful of all studio requests so that the performance is enjoyable for all.

Saving seats is not allowed.

All adults and children will be asked to leave the auditorium if they enter before the designated time.

Any personal belongings (jackets, programs, purses) left in the auditorium will be removed before doors open.

No Photos or Video at Recital

We understand that this is a super exciting time. However, we are also super serious about our recording and photography policies.

Absolutely no flash photography, at any time, as it is dangerous to the dancers on stage.

We provide professionals, so that we may sit back and enjoy watching the performance and let them capture our amazing children in action.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Check-In and Check-Out

CHECK IN and Check Out - when you arrive, a staff member will direct you to check-in located in the cafeteria. You will check-in with your class chaperones alphabetically by last name. The same parent will come back check out in the same place!

Check-in time for the 1:00 pm show is 11:30 am.

Check-in time for the 6:00 pm show is 4:30 pm.

Check out may take longer than checking in. Chaperones make sure that your dancer has all of his or her belongings before they are taken to the cafeteria, and they must wait for ALL dancers in the class.

Due to crowds, please have only the ONE Adult who checked-in the dancer wait at the designated class table.

Dancers must stay for the entire recital.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during the check out, as this is for the safety of our dancers. Please allow us to properly care for your children.

Waiting for you dancer after the show...

We are grateful that so many dance families choose our studio. With so many students and eager audience members, the auditorium hallways and cafeteria can be VERY CROWDED places after the shows.

PLEASE ask your families and friends to LEAVE THE BUILDING HALLWAYS after the show to allow for dancer checkout.

Once ONE ADULT has picked up your dancer in the cafeteria, dancers can greet family and friends outside.

Waiting In Between Shows

We have many dancers who perform in both shows, however, chaperones are not available to stay with dancers between shows. All dancers must check out and move to the cafeteria at the end of the performance. Any dancer who stays for both shows must remain in the cafeteria until 4:30.

Dancers must be with an adult all times- no supervision is provided between shows.

Dancers and chaperones will not be allowed to wait in the dressing rooms between shows.
