Getting Ready for the Show

What to Bring

1. All Costume Pieces and SHOES

Double check to make sure you have all costumes, hair pieces, tights, and accessories. Purchasing a garment bag from the front desk will help keep all costumes and accessories in one place!

2. A Cover Up

A men's button down shirt works best. Please choose a cover up that will completely cover your dancer's costume so that no spills or damage will occur while waiting to perform, and one that will button or zip up the front so it will not damage hair or makeup when removing.

3. Finale Outfit

If you purchased a finale t-shirt, dancers will wear that with SOLID black bottoms (shorts, pants, leggings, etc). Dancers who don't purchase a recital shirt will wear their last costume.

4. "Beauty Kit"

Your dancers should arrive to both the rehearsal and recital in full makeup, but you may want to send extra lipstick in their bag for touch ups. Older dancers should also include hairspray, bobby pins, safety pins, and any additional makeup that is needed.

5. Water

Please DO NOT SEND POP or JUICE. These spill on costumes and can damage shoes. Water only backstage.

What NOT to Bring

No fast or convenient store food is allowed backstage. Please DO NOT ask someone to deliver food to your dancers during the show. Food WILL NOT be given to children backstage. Snack packs are available for order at the front desk prior to rehearsal and recital.

No gum, pop, candy or anything with peanuts for our peanut allergy kiddos.

No pop or juice- it creates a sticky mess and can damage expensive costumes or materials.
