Hair and Makeup

All dancers should arrive in full stage hair and make-up. On our littlest dancers, light make-up is the most flattering. Without any make-up, dancer’s faces become washed out from stage lights and become unrecognizable.

We suggest using foundation or mineral powder, blush, lipstick, eye shadow, mascara and for older dancers, eyeliner. For blush, peach colors tend to give the best healthy glow on stage. For eye shadow please AVOID blue or green. The mauve and brown family of colors works best at helping us see those beautiful eyes!

Female dancers under the age of 8 should bring their lipstick in a ziplock bag labeled with their name. Chaperones will assist with lipsticks.

Girls in Dance Adventures, Totz classes, and Intro classes will wear their hair

in a high ponytail.

Level 1-3 dancers will wear their hair in high ponytails.

3B Ballet and All Levels 4-6 will wear their hair in classic buns.

Be sure bangs are back and out of those pretty faces!
