B-Lab Collection Process Flow (external samples)
Channels -
- BCMCH lab staff collect samples from patients at home
- most patients with UHID
- few cases without UHID
- BCMCH lab staff collect samples from patients at specified locations Housing Apartment Associations/ Old Age Homes/ Companies other groups etc.
- most patients without UHID
- few cases with UHID
- Partner Clinics/ Labs collect samples at their premises and despatch to BCMCH lab
- most patients without UHID
- Some patients with UHID
Process flow for the application (preferably in tablet)
Patients with UHID -
Collect following details
- Collection Date, time
- Collection Location - we could register all approved locations, with details of address, contact person, number, email id etc.
- UHID - which will pull from HIS the rest of the details below,
- Name
- Age
- Sex
- Address
- Mobile Number
- Email id
- Confirm UHID through OTP validation
- Select test to be performed - pull the details from HIS (or preloaded test names with rates)
- Bill for the tests - sms total cost to patient’s mobile number, with transaction reference number
- Once payment has been received, confirm the bill
- Proceed with sample collection
- Bring samples to BCMCH and bill them into HIS (or if it can be automatically loaded from the application, then confirm sample collected)
- Email scanned bills to patient’s registered email id/ mobile number
- Email results to patient’s registered email id/ mobile number
Patients without UHID -
Collect following details
- Collection Date, time
- Collection Location - we could register all approved locations, with details of address, contact person, number, email id etc.
- Patient Registration form with following details
- Name
- Age
- Sex
- Address
- Mobile Number
- Email id
- Emergency contact
- Others… as required
- Confirm through OTP validation - (if possible link with HIS and get a new UHID) or provide a temporary ID with location code, date and number (SA-140520-1)
- Select test to be performed - pull the details from HIS (or preloaded test names with rates)
- Bill for the tests - sms total cost to patient’s mobile number, with transaction reference number
- Once payment has been received, confirm the bill
- Proceed with sample collection
- Bring samples to BCMCH, Register Patient (new UHID to smsed/ emailed to patient), and bill them into HIS (or if it can be automatically loaded from the application, then confirm sample collected)
- Email scanned bills to patient’s registered email id/ mobile number
- Email results to patient’s registered email id/ mobile number
