Always expect a train. Trains do not always follow a schedule. Trains should be on the tracks and not you.
STAY OFF THE TRACKS!
Stay off of bridges and out of tunnels.
Cross railroad tracks ONLY at designated crossings.
Check to see if trains are coming on multiple tracks before crossing.
Overhead wires and third rails will kill you instantly if touched.
Never place ANY item on a railhead to see how a train will run it over.
Leave cars and locomotives alone.
Do not fool around with track switches or signals.
Do not go into ANY outbuildings or facilities other than an active train station.
Do not illegally dump ANYTHING on a railroad right of way.
Never hop on a moving train. You risk being disabled or killed.
You will be arrested for trespassing, illegally riding and tampering with railroad equipment.
NEVER cross in front of a locomotive or commuter cab car.
Stay away from work trains.
Stay away from the edge of a platform and clear of the yellow line.
Call the police if you see suspicious people or feel unsafe.
Wait in a public area where there are people around.
