What lead you to choose the current I/O or I/O related field that you're working in/ passionate about?
The many Baruch I/O alumni at JetBlue, is just a partial testament to the value the company has of its employees. In my role, I am able to use and apply many theories in the field, including those from traditional I/O, Leadership Development, and Organizational Development.
It allows me to help contribute to a more effective and positive work environment. Baruch's I/O program really set me up for success in my role.
Who at Baruch would you say was the biggest influence on your career, and why?
Charles Scherbaum. His clear passion for the field, and the practicality of his classes really stood out. I still refer back to his notes on the job.
Tell us about one of your favorite memories during your time in Baruch's program.
Cathy Lekvulic helping me get into a class that was closed out an hour before the first class of the semester.
What advice would you give to students who are just beginning their time in Baruch's program?
Ask a lot of questions, and think about how theories would apply in today's workplace, and learn from your peers.
