What lead you to choose the current I/O or I/O related field that you're working in/ passionate about?
I worked in the education field and saw a lot of attrition and low employee morale. I wanted to understand how to improve organizations from the inside and sought out I/O to figure out the best way to do so.
Who at Baruch would you say was the biggest influence on your career, and why?
Brenda Geiselmann. Much of the material we covered in her classes I use in some way shape or form in my career currently.
Tell us about one of your favorite memories during your time in Baruch's program.
My new student orientation. I was able to meet my classmates and I felt like I was starting a new chapter in my life. The networking events we held. Also, all of the GSA socials! Basically, any moment I got to connect with my classes mates outside of the classroom.
What advice would you give to students who are just beginning their time in Baruch's program?
Network. I know it sounds cliche but honestly, it's is very important. I would say it hold equal importance as classwork and getting good grades.
