Supporting Barrington Children Since 2000
The Barrington School Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports and collaborates with our public schools. We aim to support educational initiatives and innovative projects in the Barrington schools. Our mission of enhancing learning opportunities beyond those typically provided by public funds and assuring the children of Barrington, NH reap the benefits of their public school experiences is made possible through donations and an endowment.
The Barrington School Foundation:
- Promotes early literacy by sponsoring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, where Barrington children (birth to age 5) receive an age appropriate book in the mail each month (register here) & throwing the Jumpstart to Literacy annual PJ party
- Recognizes excellence in education with an annual award
- Supports innovation and educational projects
- Collaborates with other organizations to support Barrington's children
2019-2020 Excellence In Education Award
There have been so many amazing, exemplary things going on at all of the Barrington schools. All of the teachers and staff in the Barrington schools have given their all. They have worked together and been so innovative. They all deserve to be recognized. Which is why we would like to dedicate this year’s Excellence in Education award to ALL Barrington Educators and Support Staff.
Thank you Barrington Educators for rising to the occasion. You truly have enriched the lives of students and served as an example for all.
Collaboration with End 68 Hours of Hunger
We are so happy to collaborate with Barrington End 68 Hours of Hunger. We created a “Summer Essentials” bag for children who participate in End 68 hours of hunger. Items included sunblock, insect repellent bracelet, art supplies, books (donated by Barnes & Noble), a deck of cards & card game handout and AAA Mini Map activity booklets (donated by AAA). We wish the End 68 kiddos a safe, fun, and creative summer.
