Bangladesh Advance Robotics Research Center organized Robo Tech Leadership Program “Let us make a Robot” at New Model University College, Dhanmondi, on Sept 21, 2019 jointly with Canadian University of Bangladesh. The day long workshop was conducted with a view to focusing, encouraging and inspiring the young generation in the next generation technical advances, i.e. robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Canadian University of Bangladesh jointly with Bangladesh Advanced Robotics Resource Center aim to create ten ‘Tech Expert’ from the High School, College & University level from each district of Bangladesh.
Mr. Ruhul Amin, Principal of the New Model University College, Mr. Mehedi Alam Siddiq, Senior Lecturer and other teachers of the college were present at the workshop and delivered their valuable speech.
Mr. Md.Rahatul Islam, CEO & Vice-president of BARRC and Co-founder of IDEA shop Innovation Center of Bangladesh Advance Robotics Research Center delivered his speech in the workshop in the 1st half where as at the 2nd half of the session, he displayed some of his projects i.e. Humanoid Robot, Smart Public Sanitation System, Blind stick Robot, Security Robot, Controlling Devices etc. Mr. Arup Ratan Nath, Director of Planning,Marketing and Operation ,Bangladesh Advanced Robotics Resource Center acted as another speaker of the session. Mr. Jimmy Majumdar, Research Assistant at NASA, Founder and President of Bangladesh Advance Robotics Research Center also gave his assistance for successfully completing the workshop.
The initiative was taken with the support of Dr. MD Shahrukh Adnan Khan, MIET, FERC, Acting Dean, School of Science and Engineering and Head of EEE Department, Canadian University of Bangladesh.
