Former President /u/GuiltyAir's disgusting tax-and-spend policy merely resulted in many Americans struggling to pay the ridiculous taxes at high rates.
Current President /u/Gunnz011 previously proposed an extensive federal budget, which saw huge tax cuts which would benefit the American people, while keeping a federal surplus. This is textbook fiscal responsibility, one of the tenets of common-sense conservatism, and /u/bandic00t_ fully supports the budget.
However, this budget has seen no progress in the House of Representatives, where it was introduced. Why could this be?
The Democrats, who currently control the House, have obstructed the common-sense budget's progress in the House by passing terrible rules and blocking Gunnz's common-sense budget proposal, and the Majority Whip, /u/PresentSale, has chosen to propose a budget of his own, with fourteen total tax brackets crafted out of thin air.
Even if the Democrats keep control of the House, Congressman /u/bandic00t_ will remain committed to the common-sense principles that have always guided him; this includes fighting the Democrats' obstruction and for fiscal responsibility in our government.
