Instead, he supports fair, well-negotiated bi-lateral trade deals, which allow for both sides to gain something from trading with each other.

China, as a large, rapidly-developing nation, has exerted large influence on the United States and on world organizations. Despite this, their authoritarian government continues to crack down on free speech and human rights, manipulates their currency, and persecutes religious minorities.
