To be a Life Member of Blue Ribbon Association means to be welcomed to the family for life. You have given a proportion of your life for the Association, and that support is paid back in turn.
To be eligible to be nominated for Life Membership, any nominated member shall have a minimum of 10 years continuous financial membership of the Association immediately prior to nomination. Once all nominated members' membership records have been verified, they are to be submitted to all Life Members of the Association for consideration at the Life Members Committee Meeting to be held prior to the Annual General Meeting. Criteria considered by the Life Members include; Meeting attendance (minimum of 60% required for duration of membership to date); Positions held within the Association and Awards received from the Association. The Life Members Committee may recommend none, one or two members annually to the Annual General Meeting for Life Membership A nomination for Life Membership is accepted if it achieves a 75% majority in a secret ballot conducted at the Annual General Meeting.
