Due to the fun, small venue, and ease of use of table tennis, table tennis has rapidly become popular and more and more people have fallen in love with table tennis. In January 1926, a table tennis match was held in Berlin, Germany. A total of 64 athletes from nine countries participated in the competition. Due to the large number of participating countries in this competition, the ITTF regarded it as the first World Table Tennis Championships. In December of the same year, the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) was officially established. Since then, table tennis has ushered in a new era of formalization and internationalization.
