Adding a photo without an accompanying story from a mobile app is fairly straight forward. The steps are listed on FamilySearch's "Save Family Memories" page. However, it is necessary to go to the web page to add dates and places to photos you post.

Before you start
§ Carefully read the Submission Agreement for questions concerning your content.
§ The system times out after an hour. To avoid losing your work, remember to save often or you can write a story in a word processor and then copy and paste into Memories story section.
§ Drag and drop does not work for uploading stories.
§ PDF files cannot be uploaded into the Stories feature, but they work well in Documents.
