Reflection

During my second year of my MPH at Touro University I was able to utilize my HECJ track skills first hand as a formative evaluator for Project HOPE. I've had the opportunity to listen, collect, report, and analyze the diverse voices of the city of Vallejo, California by conducting key-informant interviews of CalVIP, Byrne, and community partners. This was an eye-opening experience that enhanced my understanding of the nature of program implementation, federal grant allocation at the city level, and the impact beneficence should have between the Vallejo Police Department, the city, its residents and community partners.
