This project focuses on the documentation and analysis of the historic Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Klang Selatan, a building recognized for its architectural and cultural importance within Klang. Through an on-site study, the project involved detailed measurements and systematic recording of the existing structure to produce a complete set of architectural drawings.
The documentation includes accurately developed plans, sections, elevations, and construction details that illustrate the building’s spatial arrangement, structural systems, and material qualities. The process highlights the significance of measured drawings in preserving and understanding heritage architecture.
Alongside the technical documentation, a research-based report and magazine were produced to examine the station’s historical background, architectural characteristics, and development over time. The study also explores the building’s relationship with its surrounding urban context and its continued relevance within the community.
