The course investigates the integration of generative AI, machine learning, and digital tools within architectural practice while critically evaluating their impact on creativity, sustainability, and the future of the built environment. Throughout the course, I utilized platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot to develop design concepts, generate visualizations, conduct environmental research, and explore AI-assisted workflows. United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) Policy Papers

This compilation features two comprehensive policy papers written from the delegation perspective of South Africa, addressing critical goals within the UN’s Sustainable Development Agenda. The first paper tackles Marine Pollution and Plastic Waste (SDG 14), outlining strategies to protect declining marine ecosystems from industrial discharge and single-use plastics through global resource-finance alliances and youth-driven ecological campaigns. The second paper focuses on Sustainable Urban Transportation (SDG 11 & 3), analyzing the economic and public health crises caused by traffic emissions and proposing structured frameworks for decarbonized public transit, non-motorized transport infrastructure, and green urban planning. Together, these documents present actionable, localized solutions to complex macro-environmental crises.
