Susan rose in the roll of Grandmother to become "Supergram" for Alice's and Triften's daughter Margo. When their second child Zach came along, Rob decided to recognize her formally with the title and the shot put.

Note: The family and her community were devastated when Susan died on March 9, 2016. When the family dealt with her home and possessions, the shot put could not be found. There is speculation that the shot put may have been in the trunk of the car that was totalled after an accident the year before, and then towed away for destruction. But the tradition continues! Rob and Demi replaced it with an eight pound shot put when they presented it to Andrew and Christine in 2017.
