This privacy policy applies to the FX Cam: Camera Filters application ("Application") for iOS, created by Serhii Rymar ("Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a freemium service and is provided "AS IS".

Summary

The Application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account and no login, and all image, video and audio processing happens on your device. The Application does send anonymous usage statistics, which cannot be linked back to you; this is described below.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not collect personal information. The Service Provider never receives your photos, videos, audio, or the content of anything you create.

The Application uses TelemetryDeck to understand how its features are used. It sends anonymous events — for example that a category was opened, how long it stayed open, or that a recording was started — together with basic technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version and language. TelemetryDeck derives a non-reversible hashed identifier on your device, so these events cannot be linked back to you or to your device. They are never used for advertising, never combined with data from other companies, and never shared with data brokers. Details of TelemetryDeck's own practices are at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

The Application also downloads a small list of the Service Provider's other applications, so the list can be updated without an app update. No information about you is sent with that request.

The Application contains no advertising and no tracking software development kits.

Permissions

The Application requests the following iOS permissions, each used only for an on-device feature:

• Camera — to capture live video and photos and apply visual effects in real time.

• Microphone — to record audio with your videos and to drive audio-reactive effects. Audio is processed on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

• Photo Library (add only) — to save the photos and videos you capture. The Application does not request access to browse or scan your library. When you open an existing photo or video, Apple's system picker is used: it runs outside the Application, and only the single file you choose is handed over.

• Location (optional) — used only if you enable the location widget. Your coordinates are sent to Apple's geocoding service to turn them into a city name for the on-screen label. Neither the coordinates nor the resulting name are stored or sent to the Service Provider.

You can disable any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → FX Cam.

Face and Depth Data

The Application does not use the TrueDepth API. It does not perform face detection, facial mapping, or biometric analysis, and it does not collect or store any face or depth data.

Subscriptions

The Application offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, FX Cam PRO, which unlocks the full filter set.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never seen by or shared with the Service Provider. The Application verifies subscription status locally through the App Store on your device; no purchase information is sent to the Service Provider.

Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Data Storage and Retention

Photos and videos you capture are saved to your device's photo library and remain under your control. Application settings are stored locally on your device.

The anonymous usage events described above are retained by TelemetryDeck on the Service Provider's behalf. Because they carry no personal identifiers, they cannot be traced to an individual and therefore cannot be individually retrieved or deleted. Deleting the Application removes all locally stored settings.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the Application collects no personal information from any user, no such information is gathered from children either.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
