Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Face Mosaic: Camera FX app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Serhii Rymar (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service.

By downloading or using the Application, you automatically agree to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you read and understand these terms before using the Application. Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract the source code of the Application, translate it into other languages, or create derivative versions is not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to making the Application as useful and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or to charge for their services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you before they apply.

Your Content and Your Device  

The Application does not collect or transmit personal data. All capture and processing happens on your device, and the photos and videos you record are saved to your own photo library and remain entirely under your control. You are responsible for what you record and for how you use it, including obtaining any consent required where you film.

It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking your device, which removes software restrictions imposed by the official operating system. Such actions could expose your device to malware, compromise its security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Third-Party Services

The Application contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking software development kits. It does not use AdMob, Firebase, Facebook, Unity, or any comparable third-party service.

The only third-party service involved is Apple's App Store, which processes optional subscription purchases. Those purchases are governed by Apple's own terms, available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Subscriptions

The Application offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Mosaic Pro, which unlocks the full filter set. The Application is fully usable without it.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the Service Provider.

Internet Connection

The Application does not require an internet connection to capture, process, or save photos and videos. A connection is needed only to purchase or restore a subscription.

If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's agreement still applies, and you may incur charges for data usage. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, it is assumed you have the bill payer's permission.

Limitations

The Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your use of the Application. For instance, it is your responsibility to keep your device charged; if your device runs out of battery and you cannot access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

Real-time video processing depends on your device's hardware. Performance, frame rate, and the availability of certain features vary by device model. Face masking requires a device with a TrueDepth front camera and is unavailable on devices without one.

Face masking is a visual effect. It is not a guarantee of anonymity, and the Service Provider makes no warranty that a face will be obscured in all conditions — tracking can be lost in poor lighting, at extreme angles, or during rapid movement. You are responsible for reviewing anything you record before sharing it.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update the Application from time to time. Operating system requirements may change, and you will need to download updates if you wish to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be updated to remain compatible with the operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to accept updates when offered.

The Service Provider may also cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without notice. Unless informed otherwise, upon any termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes, which will be posted here.
