This privacy policy applies to the Face Mosaic: Camera FX application ("Application") for iOS, created by Serhii Rymar ("Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a freemium service and is provided "AS IS".

Summary

Face Mosaic: Camera FX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no login, and no server operated by the Service Provider. All image, video, and face processing happens on your device.

Information Collection and Use 

The Application does not collect personal information. The Service Provider does not receive your IP address, device identifiers, usage history, or any analytics about how you use the Application.

The Application contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits.

Permissions

The Application requests the following iOS permissions, each used only for an on-device feature:

• Camera — to capture live video and photos and apply visual effects in real time.

• Microphone — to record audio with your videos and to drive audio-reactive effects. Audio is processed on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

• Photo Library (add only) — to save the photos and videos you capture. This permission does not allow the Application to read, scan, or import your existing library.

You can disable any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Face Mosaic.

Face and Depth Data

The Application uses Apple's ARKit face tracking, which relies on the TrueDepth camera, to place a mosaic mask over a face in the frame.

This is used exclusively to position the mask in the live preview and in the video you record. The face geometry ARKit provides exists only in device memory, only for the duration of a single frame, and is discarded as soon as that frame is drawn.

Specifically:

• No face data, depth data, or face geometry is stored on the device.

• No face data is transmitted off the device, to the Service Provider or to any third party.

• The Application does not identify, recognize, or authenticate anyone. It does not build a face template, a face signature, or any other biometric identifier, and it cannot tell one person from another.

• Face data is never used for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any purpose other than drawing the mask.

• Face data is never shared with, sold to, or otherwise disclosed to third parties.

Face tracking runs only while the front camera is active. It stops the moment you switch to the rear camera or leave the Application.

The only thing that leaves the Application is the photo or video you choose to save, and it contains the finished picture — the mask is already part of the image, and no face data accompanies it.

Subscriptions

Face Mosaic: Camera FX offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Mosaic Pro, which unlocks the full filter set.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never seen by or shared with the Service Provider. The Application verifies subscription status locally through the App Store on your device; no purchase information is sent to the Service Provider.

Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Data Storage and Retention

Photos and videos you capture are saved to your device's photo library and remain under your control. Application settings are stored locally on your device.

Because no personal data is collected, there is no personal data for the Service Provider to retain or delete. Deleting the Application removes all locally stored settings.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the Application collects no personal information from any user, no such data is gathered from children either.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
