Miss Porter's School

Avon Valley Show Stables proudly hosts the Miss Porter's School Equestrian Program. MPS Equestrian is a diverse program that values riding technique, physical fitness,  sportsmanship, and horsemanship. Riders enter this program with all levels of experience and a wide range of goals. 

Elements of the Program:

• Lessons offered seven days a week

• Hack program

• Year-Round Instruction

• Opportunites to compete nationally at the HITS Ocala circuit every Winter

• Local and Regional competitions 

• Rated home shows hosted by AVSS

• IEA team, host site for two Fall IEA shows  

• Boarding program for incoming students with horses

• Many sale horses and opportunities for horse ownership

• Horses available for full and in-barn leases

• Horsemanship classes

• "extracurricular" equestrian events
