Malawi, formerly known as Nyasaland, is a landlocked country in Africa. It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mozambique on the east, south and west. A fifth of it is water, also has the ninth largest lake in the world, and the third largest in Africa. Similar to other African countries, Malawi is also colonized by the British, which makes most of the people could speak English.
