Border wall planned through the National Butterfly Center threatens habitat, wildlife corridors, and decades of conservation and research efforts.
We had a fantastic time at the Bailey Middle School Butterfly Fest and Native Plant Sale! The Austin Butterfly Forum enjoyed meeting students, families, and fellow nature lovers while sharing tips on attracting and supporting butterflies with native plants. It was fun to see the kids handling caterpillars for the first time (thanks Erin, Brie, and Valli!), watching them answer butterfly and moth trivia questions (thanks Shelton and Brian!), and learning all about chrysalises (thanks Brendan!). Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We appreciated the opportunity to be part of an inspiring day!
