At ADAPT, we believe every stage of life deserves specialized care. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce Natalie, a specialist in Perinatal Pilates. For our prenatal and postpartum community, Natalie is an incredible resource to help you feel strong and supported. Welcome to the team, Natalie!
A lifelong athlete, after my first pregnancy, I struggled to regain balance and strength in my body, making it difficult to pursue my passion for dressage, an equestrian sport that is all about finding balance, strength and harmony in both horse and rider. Luckily, I stumbled into a Pilates studio in downtown Longmont (Hey, Syd!) and through Pilates, was able to remedy the crookedness in my body and rebuild the strength I’d lost while pregnant.
Since then, I’ve become a Pilates teacher, a Perinatal Pilates Specialist, and had another baby. Equipped with Pilates movement principles and education in perinatal Pilates, I maintained a strong and resilient body throughout my second pregnancy and experienced a smoother postpartum era and beyond.
Today I aim to support my students in feeling strong, steady and resilient in their bodies & minds, so that they can also pursue what they love. In addition to Pilates certifications, I have completed many yoga and meditation teacher trainings. I enjoy integrating these practices into my teaching toolkit so that I can support you wherever you are on your wellness journey.
