DAY 1 - Left Warm Bay 6 pm and paddled for 2 hours to Pike Bay. Shortly after camp setup were treated to few mosquitoes a gorgeous full double rainbow to the east (...)

DAY 2 - Pike Bay to Bastion Island with lunch at Horseshoe Island. 7 hours including stops. Water a spectacular steel blue and like glass almost all the way. Had to hide from bugs in the evening. (...)

DAY 3 - Left Bastion Island 7:30am. Arrived cliff bay, 2km south of Sloko Island, 12:30pm. Calm waters all the way. On Sloko Island both campsites marked on map were full with motor boats. In the channel between islands we passed through are other spots to camp. (...)

DAY 4 - 11 am left Cliff Bay. Started Mt Adams trail hike 12:45 pm. Arrived glacier lake ~2:30 pm. The paddle from bay down Sloko inlet had amazing colours thought the inlet. Just around the corner from the bay you can see (...)

DAY 5 - Later start, 10 or 10:30 am. Went to south end of Llewellyn Inlet. Mirror calm for 9km, then a head wind for last 1 km. Paddling from Sloko island to Llewelyn inlet the water was blue but as we entered the inlet (...)

DAY 6 - Llewellyn Inlet to Sloko Island rest stop. Left camp 8 am. Wind break island 9:30 am. Departed 10 pm for Bastion Island crossing, arriving midnight. Awake at 5, out of tent at 6. Paddling just before 8. (...)

DAY 7 - Bastion to Horseshoe Island. On water at 9:20 am. Stopped for day at 3 pm. Up at 9, stuffed tent in the bag, skipped breakfast and coffee and jumped on the water. Had to paddle about 20min before the cloud of mosquitos we brought with us dispersed enough we could stop and finish off those we could lay a hand on. (...)

DAY 8 - Horseshoe Island to Warm Bay. Departed 09:30 am, landed 12:20 pm. Really calm and cool to start but got warmer. From Horseshoe cut straight across to O'Donnell River instead of the nearest mainland shore because it was so calm. Early lunch at mouth of the river on a gravel bar. Sunny and bug free. (...)
