Vocation Ministry

The St. Alphonsus Liguouri Vocation Ministry

The St. Alphonsus Liguouri Vocation Ministry of All Saints Parish is a newly formed Ministry In our parish. It’s purpose is to promote awareness, prayer and support for all vocations in the church, including the priesthood, permanent diaconate, consecrated life, married life and single life. Our mission is to encourage, guide and support parishioners as they discern the specific vocation God has planned for them. In the coming months , you will hear more about vocations and prayer opportunities. There will also be printed material related to vocations available to vocations in the back of All Saints Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Church. If you have any questions, you may contact Joanne Zavitsky at 570-956-0430.

“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone” (Matthew 21:42) Jesus, the cornerstone, calls us to build His Church. In Holy Matrimony, couples become the cornerstones of love and faith for a family. Have you talked to your children about their vocation? Pray with them as they discern how God may be calling them to build up God’s church.
