Attention Catholic Scouts

Joseph Zawisza, Catholic Religious Emblems Coordinator for Orwigsburg Troop 624, will be running both the Ad Altarei Dei and Pope Pius XII award programs during the summer. If you are interested in earning either of these awards or would like more information, please contact the St. Ambrose parish office at 570 385 1031.

Attention Redner's Shoppers

All Saints will be participating in the Redner's Save-A-Tape Rewards Program. Please scan your rewards card or enter your phone number at checkout so that Save-A-Tape rewards appear near the bottom of the register tape. Register tapes can be placed in the boxes marked Redner's at the back of each church (All Saints and Our Lady of Lourdes). Redner's will mail a rewards check to the parish office upon submission of the Save-A-Tape receipts. The entire receipt is needed for the rewards program; however, credit card information can be crossed out on the receipts.

Hope for the Harvest

We thank God for all of our priests and sisters, however, there is a growing concern for the small amount of these good men and women who are challenged with task of serving the great number of God’s people. Beginning this year, our parish will be participating in a program in the dioceses, called, Hope for the Harvest. This program was formed in the hope of getting more young men and women interested in serving God in the holy Priesthood or consecrated life. This is the final weekend to return the “Called by Name” cards. Please return them in the baskets on the tables in the back of the church.We are inviting parishioners to pray for all young people and if you know of anyone you feel may have a calling by God to serve Him to in this capacity, to talk with either that person or if they are still a minor, to his or her parents and let them know that you would like to submit their names on this “Called by Name” card and either drop it in the basket next to the cards or take it home and after prayerful consideration bring it back by the following weekend. You may also drop it off at the Parish Center.

St. Alphonsus Vocation Ministry

Starting the weekend of April; 25/26, printed materials regarding vocations will be available on tables in the back of All Saints and Out Lady of Lourdes Church. These materials are meant to encourage, guide and support parishioners as they discern the specific vocation God has planned for them. Additional information will be added at intervals. If you or someone you know feels a calling to a vocation, help yourself to the available material. Contact Joanne Zavitsky at 570-956-0430 with any questions.

1950s - 60s ALL NEW POP HITS MUSIC SHOW FRIDAY JUNE 26

All are invited for a night of fun music hits performed by vocalist Jack James with guest appearance by trumpeter, Frank Balon. Hear hits made popular by Elvis, Bobby Rydell, Dion, Bobby Darin, and more. Pre-show instrumental hits start at 5:30 PM. The concert begins at 6:30 PM. inside the historic Freeland Dance Hall Pavilion, Front Street next to the YM-YWCA. The performance is indoors, unaffected by weather. Seating is provided. No admission. Free will offerings appreciated. Refreshments, food & snacks available

 Quo Vadis (for young men) and Fiat Days (for young women) Vocation Retreat Camps

The Office of Vocations will be holding its annual Quo Vadis (for young men) and Fiat Days (for young women) Vocation Retreat Camps from June 28-July 1 on the campus of Kutztown University. Camps are open to young men and women age 14-18, including the newly graduated. There are a limited number of spaces available. Cruise to the Caribbean with St. Ambrose (Schuylkill Haven)
