Little Angels Preschool (located at 35 N. Cleveland Street in McAdoo ) is now taking registrations for the 2025-2026 school year. Children can be 3,4 or 5 years of age and must be potty trained. Half-day and full day classes are available.
The school offers indoor and outdoor play areas as well as the classroom learning center. Classes run from September through May.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. Join us as we journey to Washington D.C. for the Diocesan Pilgrimage at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, October 7. The Bus will depart from St. Clare of Assisi (Carroll Street Lot in St. Clair) at 7:00AM and St. Ambrose (church parking lot in Schuylkill Haven) at 7:30AM. Box lunches will be included and dinner will be on your own at Cracker Barrel on the way home. Cost - $120 which includes transportation, driver tip, box lunch, donation to the Shrine. $20 deposit is due at time of registration with full payment due by Friday, September 19. Living Candlelight Rosary
This weekend is the last weekend to sign to partici-pate in our annual Candlelight Living Rosary, sched-uled for next Sunday, October 12, at 6:00 PM, on the front lawn of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Eve-ryone is welcome to pray this beautiful devotion to our Blessed Mother. If anyone can help to carry a candle and say a “Hail Mary” or “Our Father” please sign up in the back of either church or call Ron at the Parish Center 929-1073 x103 no later than next Sunday, October 5. At this time, we still need 17 people in order to make this happen!
St. Ambrose Church (Schuylkill Haven) will be making a pilgrimage to Fátima and Lourdes while also visiting the great cities of Lisbon and Barcelona.
We will depart on Wednesday, October 15 and return on Saturday, October 25. On our travels we will be visiting Santarém and the Church of St. Stephen, Salamanca and the university, Burgos and the cathedral which is a pilgrimage church on the Camino de Santiago, and Montserrat and the monastery. The high point of our pilgrimage will be stops in Fátima and Lourdes. The all -inclusive price of $5,395 includes: basic tour & guided sightseeing, round-trip international airfare, fuel surcharges and government taxes, admin fees, entrance fees, hotel gratuities, and program fees, meals listed in the itinerary, deluxe motorcoaches, local transportation from St. Ambrose to Newark Airport and back, tips for your guide and driver, first-class hotels.

The Community Cafe is coming to Weatherly for lunch, 12 noon until 130pm, on October 24, 2025. In observance of the parish’s anniversary, it is our way to “give back” to our community. We are grateful to Catholic Charities & the Diocese of Allentown.
