Mr. Bedane’s expertise includes flood hazard studies, storm water management and sewer/water systems design. Currently, Mr. Bedane is leading a group of engineers and technicians in managing water distribution assets. Assets include, water pipeline, control valves, fire hydrants, water services lines, pumping stations and water storage facilities. In this capacity, he is responsible for performing hydraulic modeling to ensure adequate flow and pressure is delivered to customers. In addition, he is responsible for pipe condition assessment, asset rehabilitation/replacement prioritization, asset record registry, water system data analytics and drinking water system optimization.
Mr. Bedane is finalizing a graduate study at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. His BS Civil Engineering is from Mekelle University, Ethiopia and MS in Water Resources Engineering from University of Brussels, Belgium.
