Many of the spaces at Bay Street have great light, are open and airy and have rugged industrial details. The sandblasted double-truss ceilings and wide-plank wood floors add warmth to the warehouse dimensions. The white plaster walls contrast the rough character of the old masonry and wood elements.
Door-size window openings cut through brick walls and stream light across smooth floors
in the front space at Bay street, while a massive column carries the structural elements of the roof above.
As the use of buildings change over time, there is always some evidence left from previous inhabitants,like garish yellow paint over layers of interesting color choices, steel doors that once lead to neighboring spaces but are now sealed or brick and masonry repairs in the exterior walls. These happenings become the character details in this 100 year old industrial structure.
