Justin Tew was born in Bedfordshire in 1969. From an early age he discovered he had artistic talent and won many awards and competitions during his schooling. Justin Tew was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham where his artistic abilities flourished. After graduating from London University he travelled extensively in Africa, Asia and Europe, becoming a full-time painter two years after graduating from university. Justin Tew paints exclusively in oil, working on media such as oil on paper, board and canvas. Justin Tew’s pictures are winning acclaim in art circles and he has exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London. Justin Tew has had solo and joint exhibitions in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Justin Tew says: “Painting played a significant part of my life all the way through school, though at this stage I had no idea that it would become my future career. After graduating from London University with a degree in Biology my Tutor offered me a job working on a black rhino project in southern Africa. Seeing the drastic plight of the black rhinos at first hand had a long lasting effect on me. Subsequently I have been able to help this charity and others through the donation of my work".
